Centuries Record Broken – World Snooker

The record for the most century breaks made in a single year at the Crucible has been broken, with the final of the tournament still to be played.

Stuart Bingham’s break of 100 in the 27th frame of his semi-final with Mark Selby was the 101st ton of the Betfred World Championship, beating the mark of 100 centuries set in 2019. With the remainder of Saturday’s semi-finals plus the final on Sunday and Monday still to be played, the record looks sure to be smashed.

Shaun Murphy tops the charts with as 144 and he’s in line for the £15,000 high break prize. Bingham has the most tons to his name, with 13.
