Century Total Reaches 56

With over a week still to go at the Betfred World Championship, 56 century breaks have already been made, following Saturday’s afternoon session.

The record for the 17-day tournament at the Crucible is 100, set last year, and that could well be beaten this time.

John Higgins tops the chart with his superb 147 maximum on Thursday, putting him in line for a £55,000 pay-day.

For every ton, sponsor Betfred are donating £200 to our official charity Jessie May Children’s Hospice at Home, and if the total reaches 80 then the donation will be rounded up to a massive £25,000.
