The event had a theme of “Euro 2020 with Hisense”, with more than 400 footballs fan watching matches played in Europe. Hisense is the official sponsor of UEFA Euro 2020.
This was the first Open Day at the British Embassy since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. This year the event is a flagship for the Spirit of Sport and brings together exhibitions representing snooker, football, sailing and skiing. It is also a platform to discover many aspects of British culture.
WST’s Beijing office has often participated in the Open Day activity, bringing small snooker tables where children can be coached, learn basic skills and receive snooker-themed gifts, while promoting the WST brand.
The British Embassy streamed the activity on Weibo and Kuaishou, receiving approximately 140,000 views.
