Shaun Murphy, Yan Bingtao, former winner Anthony McGill and last year’s runner-up Michael Holt are among those still going strong at the BetVictor Shoot Out, with the last 16 onwards to be played on Sunday evening from 7pm.
The last man standing will receive the trophy and top prize of £50,000 in the third of four events in the 2020 BetVictor European Series.
Murphy, bidding to win back-to-back ranking titles having landed last week’s Welsh Open, beat Brandon Sargeant in round three on Sunday afternoon.
McGill, who won this event in 2017, trailed Liang Wenbo 41-10 but hit back to take it with a break of 48.

Yan, one of five Chinese players among the last 16, beat Dean Young, the last remaining amateur in the field, with runs of 30 and 40.
Former German Masters champion Anthony Hamilton made a break of 59 to beat Ross Bulman, while Billy Castle, who knocked out Ronnie O’Sullivan, kept his run going with victory over Luo Honghao.
