The line-up of matches for the opening day of the matchroom World Grand Prix has now been confirmed.
The tournament will feature the top 32 players on the one-year ranking list as it stands at the end of this week’s matchroom.live Scottish Open. The seeding order could change over the weekend so the full draw and format is yet to be confirmed.
Televised by ITV4, the action starts at at 7pm on Monday and runs until Sunday December 20.
Monday evening’s matches will be (seeding in brackets):
Neil Robertson (2) v Robert Milkins (31)
Barry Hawkins (12) v Ricky Walden (21)
Joe Perry (14) v Anthony McGill (19)
John Higgins (7 or 8) v EITHER Xiao Guodong (26) OR Robbie Williams (25) (Higgins’ seeding depends on this weekend’s results).
