Ronnie O'Sullivan celebrated with his kids after winning a seventh World Snooker Championship title - and fans loved it.

O'Sullivan defeated Judd Trump 18-13 on a hard-fought second day in Sheffield to join Stephen Hendry on seven Crucible titles. The Essex potter struggled to hold back the tears after winning the final frame as the enormity of his achievement began to kick in.

The Rocket had two of his children and his dad in the audience for the final session - and he celebrated with all three of them at the conclusion of the match. After he embraced Trump for over a minute, a teary O'Sullivan went over and gave Lily and Ronnie Jr. a huge hug.

The trio then posed with the World Snooker Championship trophy as O'Sullivan took in what he had just achieved. A member of the famed 'Class of 92', O'Sullivan now has seven world titles, drawing him level with Hendry, who dominated the game in the 1990s.

Fans have been left in awe of the 46-year-old over the last few weeks in Sheffield. And as the world no.1 celebrated with his family, snooker fans lavished praise on O'Sullivan and the touching embrace with his children.

O'Sullivan also paid tribute to Trump in his third world final, saying: "As far as I'm concerned this fella is already an all-time great. That's probably the greatest result I've ever had against someone like Judd.

"I didn't really feel like the favourite to win. I doubted myself a little bit, so to finally get a result like I did is special. I've grown up with Judd, we've shared a lot of time on the practice tables so to hear the words he said to me afterwards, I didn't realise what that meant to him."
