While attempting a 147 maximum break, Ronnie O’Sullivan tore off his shirt sponsor.

While playing an exhibition match against Reanne Evans in Bucharest, Ronnie became frustrated with the sponsor badge on his shirt, which was obstructing his snooker cue as he attempted to pot the final colors.

As the current World Women’s Snooker Champion, Reanne Evans holds the title. She is regarded as Britain’s leading female snooker player and will make history next month as the first woman to compete against the world’s top male players in the Champion of Champions snooker event.

During his 4-2 win against Reanne, O’Sullivan demonstrated that his cueing skills have not diminished in the slightest by completing a remarkable 147 break. After potting 14 consecutive reds and blacks, O’Sullivan continued to clear the colors in sequence until he reached the pink ball.

Just when he lined up to pot the pink left-handed, the velcro sponsor’s patch on his waistcoat seemed to interfere with his cueing action.

In frustration, he ripped off the big red badges and threw them to the table for the referee to remove.

After nailing in the pink, O’Sullivan knocked the last black and received a huge applause from the crowd.

Evans was impressed by the maximum as she walked over to her opponent and gave him a fist bump, adding to audience’s amusement.

Reanne’s place at the event was confirmed when O’Sullivan won the Shanghai Masters.

“It’s brilliant news. I’d like to play Ronnie I think,” said Evans (33).

“I have played against him in exhibitions and with him a couple of times. The crowds love him, the atmosphere would be amazing.”
