Ronnie O’Sullivan will face Thepchaiya Un-Nooh in the first round of this year’s World Snooker Championship.
The tournament at the Crucible will finally get underway on Friday having originally been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The event is being used as a test for crowds with a limited amount of spectators allowed to attend the famous Sheffield venue.
And fans will see some exciting snooker with O’Sullivan set to face the Thai sensation in the opening round.
The Rocket will be looking for his sixth world crown though has not lifted the title since 2013.
Mark Williams will face veteran Alan McManus with Mark Allen and John Higgins, who will play Matthew Stevens in the first round, in the same quarter of the draw.
O’Sullivan could face Ding Junhui in the second round with the Chinese sensation meeting Mark King in the opening clashes.
2015 World Snooker Championship winner Stuart Bingham faces qualifier Ashley Carty while three-time winner Mark Selby will have to get past Jordan Brown in the first round.
